Information, Collection and Use 
eFitAcademy is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. Users who have provided demographic information have the ability to contact eFitAcademy in writing to remove their information.

Registration
In order to use all features of eFitAcademy, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration, a user is required to provide an e-mail address (we suggest a personal address not a hotmail account etc. The e-mail address is used to keep user records separate from each other and may also be used for us to contact you with matters regarding eFitAcademy, such as a newsletter, or an announcement about a new product or service. The user is asked to provide demographic information (such as gender and location), and unique identifiers (such as address, phone number and time zone), this is purely so we can provide a more personalised experience on our site. The user is also asked to provide personal information. At times during membership, users may be asked to complete surveys and alike – these are optional).

Order
When you order products or services (e.g., purchase courses, workshops or product from our Shop) on eFitAcademy, we request information from the user on our order form. Here a user must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customers' orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user.

Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data temporarily stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. The cookie helps the user to save time. For instance, by setting a cookie on our site, the user would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. Web browsers can be set to reject cookies. If a user rejects the cookie they may still use our site, but may not be able to take advantage of certain features. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site.

Some of our business partners use cookies on our site (for example relevant fitness industry organisations and others including, advertisers). However, we have no access to or control over these cookies.

Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, track users' movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Sharing
On select occasions, for research or industry purposes we will share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.

All credit card information and processing is done by eFitAcademy personnel, shipping is by Australia Post and Australian Air Express. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes and our agreements with such providers restrict the use of this information.

From time to time we may partner with another party to provide specific services. When the user signs up for these services, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.

Newsletter
The newsletter will be sent automatically to the e-mail address the user provided when you registered for eFitAcademy. If you wish, you do have an opportunity to ‘opt out’ of receiving the newsletter by writing to eFitAcademy.

Surveys & Contest
From time to time eFitAcademy requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as postcode, age level). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

Security
At efitacademy we take every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protect both online and off-line.

When our registration order form asks users to enter sensitive information, (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to unlocked, or open, when you are just "surfing."

While we use Seamless developed encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our accounts administrator or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desks. When they return, they must re-enter their passwords to regain access to your information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up to date on our security and privacy practices and sign confidentiality agreements. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our customers' information is protected. Finally, the servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment, behind a locked cage.

Correction/Updating Personal Information:
If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as your postcode, phone number, etc.), or if a user no longer desires our service, we will endeavour to provide a way to correct, update or remove that user's personal data provided to us. Notification of Changes:
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our Homepage so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an e-mail. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. Does eFitAcademy ask for personal information?
Yes, eFitAcademy asks for your name, email address and other personal information such as your age, marital status, current employer when you register on our site. Please read our full-length privacy policy and/or see Annexure A for a detailed overview of the information that we collect and a description of how it is used.

How Does eFitacademy use my personal information? 
eFitAcademy goal in collecting personal information is to provide you, the user, with a very efficient customer service system and records system and support possible. Without the information, eFitAcademy could not make personalised recommendations for a healthy weight or nutrient intake. Please see Annexure A for a detailed overview of the information that we collect and a description of how it is used.

Will eFitacademy disclose any of my personal information?
Your data will reside securely on our server and will be kept strictly confidential. eFitAcademy will not disclose any of your personal information, except as described below, or when we believe, in good faith, that the law requires it, or to protect the rights or property of eFitAcademy. 

eFitAcademy does disclose aggregated user statistics (for example, 60% of our users are female) in order to describe our services to prospective partners, centres, and other third parties, and for other lawful purposes. Data may be used anonymously for statistical analyses, for purposes such as improving our service to the eFitAcademy community or clinical research. Again, personal information will be guarded in the strictest confidence. eFitAcademy will not disclose any personal information to a third party without your prior consent.

Does eFitAcademy use cookies and "IP Addresses"?
We use cookies to identify each user when you login, and to access your account information in order to deliver to you a better and more personalised service. 

eFitAcademy collects IP Addresses for the purposes of system administration and to report aggregate information.

What else should I know about my privacy?
Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information on-line - for example on message boards, through e-mail, or in chat areas - that information can be collected and used by others. In short, if you post personal information on-line that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return.

In addition, eFitAcademy partners and third-party Internet sites and services accessible through eFitAcademy, have separate privacy and data collection practices, independent of us. eFitAcademy has no responsibility or liability for these independent policies or actions.

Enrolment
Information that is collected. What we do with Email address, Username of your choice.  Password of your choice. We use your username and password to allow you to establish and keep password-protected records in our member area. We use email addresses as a unique identifier to keep members' records apart from each other in our database. From time to time, we also use your email address to contact you about an eFitAcademy member survey, a new product or service we offer, or to contact you about other matters regarding your eFitAcademy account. Contact Information
First Name, Last Name, Address, Phone Number, Time Zone We use aggregate geographic information to determine the best times for on-site events like chat sessions. Also, we take the geographic distribution of our membership in consideration when developing new products and services. From time to time, we may choose to inform you by regular mail about new features that are available to our users.

Personal Records
Gender, Date of Birth, Current employment status, employer or academic qual / course. This information is used to help create a personalised healthy eating plan, calculate your recommended daily calorie intake, as well as to determine your recommended daily allowances for several nutrients.

Payment process
We will ask you for your credit card information as well as your billing address. For your protection, the credit card information is encrypted through the Seamless system and will not sit on our server per se. Only the bank will un-encrypt your details. The information will be used to charge you when you purchase any products from the eFitAcademy.
